The Drexel Theatre is located in an area of the city with lots of great dining opportunities. Historic East Main Street in Bexley is a lovely old storefront neighborhoods where our patrons will find some of the finest restaurants in the city. The Drexel-owned Radio Café is connected to the East Main Street site in Bexley and features fabulous grilled panini sandwiches and salads, beer, wine and spirits to accompany gourmet coffees and desserts. This quaint sidewalk cinema café with charming umbrella tables outside three seasons of the year is best described by one Drexel aficionado as a jewel: "sidewalk café, good food, good conversation. IT'S JUST LIKE PARIS!" In October 2001, the Drexel Theatres Group was proud to have a hand in bringing downtown movie-going back to Columbus. The Arena Grand Theatre, a state-of-the-art 8-screen all-THX upscale theatre, is located in the exciting Arena District. The theatre was managed by the Drexel Theatres Group until January, 2007. In November 2005 the Drexel Gateway Theater opened at the South Campus Gateway project near the Ohio State University campus. The Franks were proud to include this wonderful theater in the Drexel Group of specialized cinemas in Columbus until March of 2008. The Columbus Dispatch named the DREXEL THEATRES number two among the "ten best art blessings" in Columbus. Location: The Drexel Theatre is located between Drexel Ave. and College Ave. in the heart of Bexley next to Bexley City Hall. It is directly across from Capital University and is accessible by the Main St. COTA bus line. The theatre is a five minute drive east of the Bexley/Main St. exit of I-70. After exiting I-70 turn right at Main St. The theatre is 3 traffic lights east on Main St. near the corner of Drexel Ave. and Main St. View Map Parking: Theatre parking is available at all-times in the parking lot behind the theatre (access from Drexel Ave.); on the north side of E. Main St., both sides of Drexel Ave., and nearby side streets. Additional parking is available at the Bexley Municipal Parking Lot (two driveways west of the theatre) after 5 p.m. weekdays and all-day Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Parking is also available on the south side of E. Main St. between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and after 6:00 p.m. weekdays and all-day Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
