High Tea with the Queen will take place at the Drexel Theatre on Sunday, January 3 starting at 4:00 p.m. to celebrate the new film, The Young Victoria. The Queen and Prince will be receiving guests in the theatre lobby, followed by a traditional English Tea. After tea, everyone will be invited to sing 'God Save the Queen’, followed by a screening of THE YOUNG VICTORIA starring Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend. Continuing a tradition that began in 1860 at the private gardens at Buckingham Palace, the Drexel Theatre will present a High Tea featuring fine English tea, and an assortment of scones, jams, sweets and tea sandwiches.
